Programs and Services
In order to achieve equality, respect, and well-being for LGBTQ persons in Boulder County, Boulder Pride:
Fosters safe environments for the LGBT community for gathering, support, self-expression, and the exchange of ideas
Advocates for social justice; by building collaborative relationships within the community at large
Celebrates the uniqueness, diversity, and contributions of our community
Provides direct services for both youth and adults
Educates the public and the LGBTQ community about the issues and concerns affecting our lives.
Boulder Pride is dedicated to striving for equality in all its operations and services and provides services without regard to an individual’s race, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, religion or physical or mental disability.
Boulder Pride proudly presents:
The second annual Director's Journey, a film making project for queer youth. This program is generously supported by the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) through the Youth Opportunities Advisory Board (YOAB), the Buck Foundation, and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMOCA) .
To launch the current program and highlight past success, we held a film showing in parnternship with BMOCA Sept 6 of films created in the first Director's Journey held in early 08. This fall's film class is at capacity and the youth will be proudly showing their work in January...stay tuned for the next showing!
